Format:  PAPA instructors will work in teams of two (Kyle Ma & Dave Santillanes and Mitch Baird & Ned Mueller).  Students will participate in 2 two-day workshops, first with one team of instructors and then with the other team of instructors.  This will allow students to receive instruction from all four PAPA instructors.  The week will kick-off on Monday with a full day of artist lectures by the PAPA instructors.

Registration:  A $500 deposit will be required to register.  Final balance payments can be made by calling Kent Mullinax at 770.387.1553 no later than 30 days prior to the start of the event.  Registration fees are fully refundable up to 30 days prior to the start of the event.  For cancellations less than 30 days prior to the start of the event, refunds will only be given if there is a waiting list with a student who agrees to take your place. Students will be responsible for their accommodations, transportation, meals, and supplies.

This workshop will focus on the foundational principles required to complete successful landscape paintings in the field. These instructors all agree that a solid understanding of drawing, value, design, and color is fundamental when it comes to analyzing the subject at hand and completing a solid painting. We will cover these principles in depth and discuss how they apply to organic form which is so commonly found in a natural environment. Participants should expect plenty of personal attention and daily demos. This class is open to all skill levels.
