General Overview of Dave’s Workshops
Dave has been painting for over 25 years, learning from his environment to become a nationally and internationally recognized landscape painter. He’s won numerous awards for his paintings but he is also a passionate teacher. His workshops have become extremely popular as students look to learn his approach to painting atmosphere. Using a variety of methods including painting demonstrations, slide shows, critiques and lots of one-on-one instruction, students are introduced to a new way of seeing color and shown how color temperature and value relationships work together to create depth and mood in a painting.
Dave is a member of the Cowboy Artists of America, a signature member of Plein Air Painters of America and a signature member of Oil Painters of America.
